What is the purpose of this application?

Please carefully review the following information. This application is specifically an application to receive a qualifying quote for Insurent® Rent Insurance Guarantee. If your application is approved, you will receive a qualification letter. Following issuance of the qualification letter, you will be required to provide additional underwriting documents and payment before issuance of a valid policy. If you are approved, the Insurent® Rent Insurance Guarantee policy entitles you to rent guarantee coverage as described in the issued insurance policy(ies).

Who should apply?

This application should only be completed by the person who intends to sign the lease.

What are the Minimum Criteria to Apply?

At this time, you may only apply for a qualifying quote for Insurent® Rent Insurance Guarantee for apartments and applicants that meet the following criteria:

The location of the apartments is in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, Nevada, Washington DC, California, and Florida.
The monthly rent is a minimum of
- $1,000 for units in New York
- $1,000 for units in New Jersey
- Various minimums apply provided for units in other states.
The term of the lease is a maximum of two years.
The applicant’s annual income must be at least 27.5 times the monthly rent OR your cash at bank/marketable securities are a minimum of 50x the monthly rent.
The applicant must be at least 18 years of age.

*Students may be able to meet the above criteria in conjunction with a responsible party. Meeting the above criteria does not guarantee approval of your application.

What Happens to the Information Provided as Part of the Application?

This application will request information from you, including personal information, resident information, employment information, identification information, contact information, financial information, and rental information. Any information that you provide under this application will be used for the purpose of determining your eligibility to receive Insurent® Rent Insurance Guarantee.
